UAT / QA Software Tester

UAT / QA Software Tester required for a leading international Online Gaming organisation based in Gibraltar, South Spain. As a UAT / QA software tester you will be responsible for the ongoing testing of a variety of core online gaming / book making applications which form part of my client’s online product offering. The role will focus on delivering a stable, bug-free ecommerce platform, ensuring that any application errors are reported back to the development team within pre-defined strict release management timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide input as part of a UAT team to the testing strategy, and ensure all companies online business / technology test requirements are met
· Ensure test plans have been produced to time and standard
· Identify requirements for testing within the software release life cycle and engage with appropriate stakeholders to ensure this is provisioned to timescales
· Monitor and supervise defects to ensure quality resolution within the agreed test schedule
· Consistent reporting
· Collaborate with other business functions / testers
· Execution of test scripts both manual and automated in a client server application environment
· Drive performance, system and usability testing in the context of a 24x7 mission critical ecommerce platform
· Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to analyse and implement all UAT requirements
· Liaise with the BA and Project teams in order to formulate appropriate use cases
Knowledge Skills & Experience:
· Experience in formulating and completing all aspects of the UAT life cycle
· Degree in a business or technology discipline
· Good understanding of mission critical ecommerce applications and technologies
· Previous exposure to software development advantageous, in particular SQL.
· Comfortable working with 'custom’ test strategies
· Online user experience, Customer journey experience
· Previous experience working with an online ecommerce brand
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
· Good written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
· At least 2-3 years experience working as a UAT focussed analyst
· Previous experience in the eGaming industry (Casino, Poker, Sports) advantageous
